We are a small property management office in Arlington, looking to add a new Property Manager to our team. Our ideal candidate will have a keen attention to detail, good communication skills, be able to work both independently and as part of a team, and will be looking to stay in the position long term. Some weekend days are required. Must be able to work out of our Arlington office, and be comfortable traveling to our properties in Northern Virginia, DC, and close-in Maryland. The properties we manage include single family homes, townhouses, and individual condo units.
Duties Include:
-Showing properties in VA, DC, and MD
-Property inspections
-Communicating with owners, tenants, and vendors
-Manage a portfolio of approximately 60 properties
-Submitting work orders
-Execute leases and lease renewals
-Use of Appfolio (property management software), Outlook, and other software as required
-Other office duties as needed
Qualifications:
-Voucher (section 8 experience preferred)
-Valid drivers license
-Personal vehicle to travel to and from properties (VA, DC, and MD)
-RE license (preferred)
-Prior experience in property management, real estate sales, or similar
