Zarpac is seeking an Accounting Manager to provide hands-on leadership in the areas of accounting and financial reporting. As a strategic partner to the Finance Director, the Accounting Manager will oversee the adherence to company’s accounting policies. The position is responsible for accounting functions such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, cost accounting, internal financial reporting and supporting the month-end close process for multiple Product lines. This role is based in our offices in Greenville, South Carolina.

Are you passionate about this work? 

• Assist in the month end close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and account analysis.
• Utilize the ERP system to create and maintain monthly financial reports
• Prepare and maintain project costing reports
• Produce monthly recurring schedules, audit schedules and ad hoc reporting
• Assist with accounts payable as required
• Support the local operational team with data/analysis
• Provide data to the Finance Director to support the annual budget process
• Lead, with support from the Finance Director several process improvement projects, to further enhance the efficiencies of the organization
• Additional projects and duties as needed to support the accounting department and overall business

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting is required
• 3 years of experience in finance and accounting
• Problem Solving skills to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
• Experience utilizing an ERP system to develop, generate and analyze reports and data; Previous experience with Syteline ERP is an asset
• Strong skills in Excel are necessary
• High organization with the ability to multi-task
• Proven ability to support the business through a positive attitude and willingness to drive results
