Occupational Therapist
At Project Play Therapy (PPT), our job is to help others see and celebrate each child’s unique gifts. We open doors by fostering opportunities for growth and independence through play. We specialize in speech, occupational, physical, and ABA therapy in both school and clinic settings. In addition, we provide school psychological services, counseling, and teletherapy-based services.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE POSITION:
The Occupational Therapist position is a direct service position. The role is expected to serve as an occupational therapist (OT) provider with focus on quality service delivery in our clinic and/or school settings. The OT is expected to use innovation, leadership, and problem solving to engage administration, staff, and other stakeholders in order to provide quality services. The candidate must be motivated to grow with a young, vibrant company, and be energized by ongoing collaboration and the endless pursuit of excellent service. In direct service, the Occupational Therapist is responsible for assisting clients/students in developing their fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living skills to facilitate their personal, social, and intellectual development. In order to respond to the individual needs and abilities of patients/students and families, the OT must work closely with the staff and administration across PPT. This position reports directly to the Clinical Manager-OT /Lead OT.
