The Opportunity

Consor is currently seeking a motivated Transportation Engineering Director to join our growing Transportation practice in our Eastern Region organization. You will engage in the growth of our Transportation in the East. You will work collaboratively with our growing team, and oversee a diverse array of Highway and Bridge programs for municipal clients. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Strategic Planning for growth of the Transportation business throughout Florida.
• Grow and guide all levels of staff throughout the geography
• Lead multi-disciplinary teams in planning, design, and construction for all sizes of related projects
• Develop new relationships to expand our client base and strengthen relationships through a commitment to quality and service
• Participate in the development of identifying and winning opportunities by working directly with clients, marketers, business developers, and delivery teams
• Gather information, develop and evaluate alternatives, and prepare engineering reports 

Required Credentials

• Minimum of 15 years relevant civil engineering experience
• Professional Engineer (PE) license
• Demonstrated Project Management experience on multi-disciplinary Transportation projects including management of subconsultants
• Experience managing City, County, State and Federal Transportation projects and programs
• Ability to lead, train, motivate, and work within a team
• Ability to develop productive, long-term relationships and communicate with clients, peers, multi-discipline teams, and management
• A reputation of integrity, intelligence, and the ability to exercise good judgment
