Salary $85k to $110k (may go a little higher depending on experience) plus a percentage for what has been collected plus 100% for medical for the employee portion.

- This position is responsible for all aspects of personal injury cases with a strong focus on pre-litigation settlements.
- Responsibilities include evaluating the merits of an injury case; providing guidance and counsel to clients through effective communication, medical review, and negotiating
- Managing all aspects of case files.
- Intake of new and potential clients.
- Handle personal injury case files from start to finish.
- Evaluate potential personal injury claims and provide legal advice to prospective clients accordingly.
- Draft, review, and modify claims, motions, discovery responses, demand letters, pleadings, subpoenas, memorandums, and other legal documents.
- Research case law and premises liability, and gather insurance policies, medical expenses, medical records, and other evidence relevant to the case.
- Communicate with clients, expert witnesses, insurance company adjusters, supporting witnesses, and medical providers to gather information.
- Negotiate suitable agreements and settle on the client’s behalf when appropriate.
- Represent the client at hearings, trials, mediations, depositions, and litigation.
- Document and update the status of all case files in the case management system.
- Manage a team of personal injury paralegals, legal assistants, case managers, litigation paralegals, and legal secretaries.
- Membership in the State Bar Association and a state license to practice law are mandatory.
- General litigation experience is preferred. Experience in personal injury litigation or trial experience in personal injury, wrongful death, slip & fall, product liability, negligent security, etc. including Business Litigation.
- A good understanding of personal injury law/ tort law and medical terminology is preferred.
- Superb drafting, research, negotiation, and communication skills are preferred.
- Must be computer proficient.
