We are currently looking for a personable, articulate and driven litigation paralegal who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

The candidate we seek will have at least 3 to 5 years of experience litigating primarily motor vehicle negligence, wrongful death cases and premises liability cases. Experience litigating nursing home neglect and medical malpractice is a plus, but is not necessary.

This role will be responsible for tasks including:

• Meeting with clientele in-person and telephonically
• Electronic filing of documents with the Court
• Drafting complaints, discovery requests, motions, requests for copies, etc.
• Prepare responses to and file Defense discovery requests
• Gathering and regularly updating medical records & bills from various medical providers, including third party processing sites such as Chartswap, CIOX, Healthport, etc.
• Preparing Excel documents with a full itemization of all medical bills
• Requesting and reviewing police reports, death certificates, PIP ledgers, ISO reports, Light sequence reports, 911 audio, EMS run reports, etc.
• Scheduling mediation and preparing mediation binders
• Scheduling and noticing UMC and special set hearings
• Scheduling depositions and obtaining transcripts

This candidate must be self sufficient and motivated!

TRIAL experience is preferred!

MUST be proficient in Word, Excel, Dropbox, Outlook & Adobe,

Pay: $65,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
