We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director of Program Management to join our team for a 12-month contract opportunity. As a Senior-level professional, you will play a crucial role in leading and overseeing our program management initiatives. Director of Program Management Job Details:
- Lead and manage all aspects of program management, including planning, execution, and evaluation
- Develop and implement program management strategies to ensure successful project delivery
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables
- Monitor and track program progress, ensuring timely completion of milestones and deliverables
- Identify and mitigate risks, resolving issues and conflicts as they arise
- Provide regular reports on program status, including progress, challenges, and recommendations
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork and knowledge sharing
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in program management
- Proven experience in program management, preferably in a senior role
- Proficiency in project management tools and software
- In-depth knowledge of program management methodologies and best practices
- The candidate must be able to apply common knowledge, skills, and abilities in the following areas:
- Bachelor’s degree in one of the following Business Administration, Social Work, Engineering, and or MBA or related field preferred
- 5 years of experience in managing large-scale projects
- Experience in Child Welfare or related Health and Human Services
- Experience in developing and executing complex project plans encompassing OCM, training, requirements gathering, and representing program office needs and objectives in IT projects.
- Experience in leading large multifaceted teams to execute and lead successful project/ software implementations
- Ability to drive effective meetings: workshops, design, and problem-solving sessions.
- Ability to present ideas in business friendly and user-friendly language; demonstrated aptitude for working with, supporting and communicating with users and customers.
- Child Welfare or CCWIS experience (Preferred)
- Experience in managing remote teams
- Certification in program management (e.g., PMP)
- Knowledge of accessible design principles and practices
- Familiarity with agile methodologies
