Job Summary:

The Clinic Director is responsible for the program planning, development and management of staff and program, budget preparation, supervision of staff, inter- agency communication and collaboration. Quality Improvement, monitors delivery of services as per the regulations and standards of the Joint Commission, SAMSHA, DEA, and OASAS.

Responsibilities:

• Sets standards of practice and develops operations policies and procedures that are specific to the program.
• Ensures that hospital policies are adhered to by staff.
• Provides general supervision of counseling staff through regularly scheduled multidisciplinary case conferences, in-service training and staffing meetings
• Ensures individualized treatment services to patients through a quality management program
• Provides direct counseling of Clinical Supervisor and Nurse Manager
• Prepares and works with finance to develop program budgets for both the state and Montefiore.

Education and Requirements:

• Masters Degree
• A minimum of 3 years of experience full time clinical work in substance abuse with at least one year in a supervisory role.
• Must be a Qualified Health Professional – LCSW, CASAC high level, RN, PH.D, PA,
• Regulatory knowledge.
