Private Hiring Company is Hiring a Personal Administrative Assistant Near Haverford, PA

FULL-TIME PERSONAL ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

This position is for an experienced, pro-active, and detail-oriented Personal Administrative Assistant in a private home, to advocate for and support the daily operations of a female principal and her household. The ideal applicant has significant experience working in a key administrative support role in a high-end entity where exceptional organization skills and attention to detail is critical. The successful applicant must be a self-starter who is comfortable working alone with minimal supervision, but also able to take direction as needed.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Manage personal calendar and schedule, coordination, and reconfirmation of appointments.
  • Occasional oversight of contractors and vendors.
  • Organize and coordinate household activities and projects.
  • General home office support (ex: document management, IT support, mailings, etc.)
  • Manage general personal errands and personal shopping.
  • Support for small household staff.
  • Make personal travel arrangements and assist with pre-travel logistics.

Qualifications:

· 15 years of direct, relevant experience using appropriate transferable skills for this PA position (e.g., office manager).

· Demonstrate exceptional organization skills. proactiveness and a calm demeanor.

· Have a warm and nurturing disposition.

· Able to advise on decisions confidently and proactively.

· Calm under pressure.

· Strong work ethic.

· Strong basic computer skills. Fluency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel in particular) is an important asset.

· Familiarity with Apple devices is important.

· Team player

Requirements:

· A bachelor’s or an associate degree is required.

· Excellent command of English grammar and vocabulary, and good handwriting communication skills, are important. (Spanish language ability is helpful though not critical).

· Must own a car with a clean driver’s license, covered by auto insurance.

· At least two strong professional references attesting to your skills and reliability.

· The property is a non-smoking, fragrance-free workplace.

· Professional low-key dress (no jeans, t-shirts) and comfortable flat footwear (no sneakers) is the dress code.

· A healthy home is a top priority. To protect everyone, proof of current vaccination against Covid-19 ad its variants like Delta, Omicron and similar) is preferred. Regular flu vaccinations are required. Medical exemptions etc. can be discussed.

· Ability and willingness to uphold confidentiality. You will need to sign a confidentiality agreement.
