Primrose School of Manhattan is Hiring a Director of Operations Near New York, NY
- Create a culture of support within the school (for staff, families and children).
- Cultivate an environment committed to health and safety.
- Learn all essential functions for each position in the school so you can support and inspire.
- Manage operation of the school in the Executive Director’s absence.
- Assist the Executive Director to ensure maximum enrollment and effective cost control.
- A Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education required.
- Valid NYS B-2 teaching certification required.
- Minimum three years in NYC in a Leadership role in a private pre-school.
- At least two years of experience as a group teacher in a program for children under six years of age
- A strong commitment to building positive relationships with families and the community.
- Proven track record of successfully managing a private pre-school, including enrollment, budget and financial performance accountability
- CPR / First Aid certified required
- Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations.
- Employee must have received full dosage of COVID-19 vaccine.
