Summary of position: The Human Resources Specialist will provide support to the Director of Human Resources and all employees and executives. The HR Specialist will be expected to bring high energy, a great attitude, creativity, and a diligent mindset to the Prime Jet Team.
Skills & Requirements:
Knowledge of general Human Resources Practices and Employment Law including confidentiality requirements, HIPAA, COBRA, PII.
Ability to independently meet deadlines.
Excellent computer skills; advanced proficiency in MS Office products.
Exceptional communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation.
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
Ability to work as team member while meeting individual performance goals.
Duties include:
Onboarding for new-hire employees.
Data entry for payroll and Pilot Records.
Support benefits administration to include enrollments, terminations, and conducting regular audits of benefits files.
Conduct monthly audits as directed to ensure HR and Records compliance.
Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment, Pilot and record keeping.
Serve as an ambassador of the company’s culture and core values.
Support HR activities, including employee relations, talent acquisition, onboarding, recordkeeping, policy updates, etc.
Serve as backup of payroll processing through ADP
Additional work as assigned
Qualifications:
2-3 years of experience in the HR and/or payroll field
ADP Payroll experience
Physical Requirements
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
