JOB SUMMARY
The Team Lead serves a team of warehouse associates. Responsibilities include but are not limited to approving time records, notifying supervisor or manager of attendance infractions, providing training and coaching for team members, and performing tasks associated with the responsibilities of the assigned department. Team Leads follow established guidelines, policies, and procedures to complete their work.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee daily staff activities to ensure operations flow smoothly and without errors in order to meet business objectives
• Monitor warehouse associates and provide observation-based coaching and guidance
• Provide training for new warehouse associates, and training for warehouse associates on new procedures
• Respond to requests for assistance from warehouse associates • Resolve routine issues; escalate to supervisor or manager where appropriate
• Ensure team follows established departmental and company procedures to achieve daily goals and KPIs.
• Perform inbound or outbound tasks such as order fulfillment and return, inventory and materials handling, client onboarding or offboarding, or other responsibilities as required
• Ensure a safe workplace, following all safety guidelines and recommendations; notify supervisor or manager of unsafe conditions
• Review, edit, and approve timecards for warehouse associates
• Provide supervisors and managers with metrics, reports and other business information
• Other responsibilities and assignments may be expected in this role
SCOPE
• Provides direction to other individuals, i.e. team members
• Normal responsibilities associated with monitoring and reporting everyday expenses
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education
• High School diploma or equivalent
Experience
• At least two years of experience in a warehouse environment, preferably in e-commerce fulfillment operations
Knowledge, Skills and Capabilities
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
• Strong time management skills
• Flexible, results-driven and self-starter
• Experience with ERP systems; NetSuite is preferred
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS Generally, the work environment is that of a warehouse or fulfillment center; specifically one that stores supplements or food products.
• On occasion, may be required to work overtime and/or weekends
• Frequently required to stand
• Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity
• Continually required to talk or hear
• While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate; noises nearby could be distracting

• Travel is not required
