Description
Presbyterian Communities of South Carolina (PCSC) is seeking an Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to work at its Management Services Office in Columbia, SC. The Executive Assistant will provide administrative support for the CEO while also serving as the office manager and performing front desk duties to ensure an organized work environment and a professional, welcoming experience for guests.
PCSC is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to enriching the quality of life for the older adults that live in its six, life plan retirement communities across the state. Our values are Service, Excellence, Relationships, Teamwork, and Stewardship.
Responsibilities:
· Support the CEO with calendar management, appointment scheduling, travel arrangements, and assist with correspondence, reports, and presentations.
· Assist the CEO by interfacing with the Board of Trustees to schedule and organize meeting logistics.
· As office manager, oversee set up and clean up for meetings and events (including catering arrangements), manage vendors who provide housekeeping, groundskeeping, and building maintenance, and manage office supplies.
· Perform front desk duties by greeting and assisting the occasional in-person visitor or caller as needed.
· Maintain confidential files and records.
· Manage special projects as assigned by the CEO.
Requirements
Requirements:
· Associate’s Degree in or related-field
· 2 years of related work experience (5 years in a corporate environment preferred)
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Excellent organizational and time management skills
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
· Able to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
· Professional demeanor and appearance
· Able to work independently and as part of a team
