Job Summary:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Caregivers. As a Caregiver, you will provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of care. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work with diverse populations, including individuals with autism and those in assisted living facilities.
Duties:
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medication as prescribed and monitor for any adverse reactions
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals
- Implement behavior management strategies for individuals with autism
- Provide childcare services as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of basic medical procedures, including first aid and vital sign monitoring
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
