Description

Job Summary:
Responsible for the overall success and growth of the company vehicle fleet, specialty test equipment, facilities maintenance, and purchasing. Oversee the upkeep, maintenance, and calibration of specialized electrical testing and construction equipment company wide.

Executive Director of Risk Management & Workforce Development

We have highly qualified field service personnel capable of assuring our customers that all emergencies will be handled promptly and professionally. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Must be willing to relocate within 60 miles of Premier Power Maintenance’s Corporate office in Indianapolis, IN.
Responsible for the planning, scheduling, cost management and overall execution of company fleet and assets.
Develop training, career paths, and succession planning for team members.
Oversee and direct the Purchasing, Fleet, and Repair Departments.
Maintain an understanding of company purchasing and DOT policies, processes, and procedures.
Responsible for the inventory, oversight, and tracking of test equipment utilizing industry specific software.
Responsible to see through equipment loading and coordinating all equipment needs company wide.
Travel to outside offices to oversee and properly track test equipment maintenance, calibration, tracking, and accountability.
Develop and implement a facility management program including preventative maintenance.
Develop and implement procedures for tracking, updating, and maintaining vehicle and equipment fleet.
Manage the inventorying, maintenance, repair, transportation, storage, cleaning, and liquidation of equipment and fleet,
Continually improve the operational systems, processes, and policies in support of the organization’s mission, specifically optimizing management reporting, information flow, business process, and organizational planning,

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Must have extensive knowledge and ability to negotiate best vendor terms, pricing, and delivery based on specific budget and schedule requirements.
Thorough working knowledge of company purchasing policies, processes, and procedures.
Must be organized and have excellent attention to detail.
Must have intermediate level computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, email, internet, etc.

Work Environment:
Must be willing to relocate within 60 miles of Premier Power Maintenance’s Corporate office in Indianapolis, IN.
Corporate business hours are Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm, but depending on the scope of works hours outside of business hours may be required.
Must be willing to take calls and travel outside the scope of normal business hours. Providing fleet and asset support at all times is a key component of this position.

Education and Work Experience:
Mechanical or electrical background preferred.
Five years’ experience in organizational leadership or management preferred, but not required.
Experience using SQL database type software.

Other Requirements:
Must be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check and motor vehicle check.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test, as well as periodic, unannounced random testing.
Must have a valid driver’s license and must have or be willing to obtain an endorsement to operate a combined vehicle weight up to 26k lbs. CDL license preferred.
Must be able to lift and maneuver at least 50 lbs.
Must be willing to obtain a company paid OSHA 10 hour, NFPA 70-E and, CPR training.
