Best Home Health and Hospice Providers, Inc. is seeking an experienced Human Resources professional to join our growing team. For an educated, skilled, and motivated candidate, this job presents a tremendous opportunity to work with our HR Manager and other HR Administrators.

CORE Responsibilities:

1) Employee recruitment: work hand-in-hand with the HR Manager to determine the need for new hires as the company grows. Draft and place job listings on job search web sites. Contact and interview candidates. Perform background due diligence. Recommend candidates for hire to HR Director and DPCS. Participate in negotiating salary and benefits package.

2) Employee Orientation: work hand-in-hand with the HR Manager to develop a comprehensive and cohesive orientation program for all new hires. Manage the orientation process for each new hire to ensure the employee is ready to be out in the field.

3) Initial and Ongoing Competency Assessment: manage the initial competency assessments of new employees and coordinate the ongoing competency assessments.

4) Training: work collaboratively with the HR Director and DPCS to develop a strong training program to address the clinical, cultural, and customer service needs and standards of the organization.

5) Benefits Management: Manage health benefits for employees on an ongoing basis. Research and recommend additions to employee benefits package to help keep our company competitive with other large hospice providers in terms of compensation structure.

JOB PURPOSE: The Human Resources Recruiter & Generalist provides support to the Human Resources Department and is primarily responsible for recruitment. The Human Resources Recruiter & Generalist also provides backup for payroll processing and the new hire orientation processes. Additionally, this position maintains data and spreadsheets, report preparation, and disseminating human resources related information to agency staff.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.

2. Assists with job posting and advertisement processes.

3. Screens applications and selects qualified candidates for hiring supervisors to review.

4. Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.

5. Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders, as needed.

6. Collaborates with the HR Director during the offer process, to identify and recommend salary ranges, start dates, and other pertinent details.

7. Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.

8. Attends and participates in college job fairs and recruiting sessions. 9. All other tasks as assigned.

SECONDARY JOB DUTIES:

1. Available to provide backup services to HR Coordinator or Payroll and Benefits Coordinator as needed.

2. Available to provide backup services to HR Director as needed.

3. Assist in updating and maintaining HR processes and procedures, including relevant checklists to ensure consistency and continuity of service.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to: Walk Use hands to finger Handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, and talk or hear Stand and sit Reach with hands and arms, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or possibly crawl. Occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
