This position designs, develops, and implements effective people strategies and tactics to continuously improve the Company’s service, delivery, employee engagement and profitability. The HR Director will lead and administer all Human Resources functions including but not limited to recruitment, onboarding, performance management, benefits and leave administration, and enforce company policies and practices.
Essential Functions:
·Assist in strategic planning and will play and instrumental role in employee engagement and retention initiatives, serving as a trusted outlet and resource to employees.
·Build upon a strong HR foundation by conducting an assessment of current practices and making recommendations for new approaches that will support the continued growth of the organization and the nurturing of the desired employee culture.
·Drive recruitment efforts that support the long-term talent needs of the site and business.
·Ensure compliance withal state and federal employment related statutes such as EEOC, non-discrimination, record-keeping, etc.
·Responsible for providing direction on laws that impact the company such as EEO, Worker’s Compensation, FLSA, OSHA, ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, or local regulations.
·Process paperwork for STD, LTD, WC, PFL, and FMLA as needed.
·Respond to employee questions, concerns, and inquiries.
·Manage HR system.
·Process bi-weekly payroll.
·Team building and leadership development.
Prior Human Resources experience preferred but will train if needed.
