Overview:
We are a small business in Bethlehem, PA. We are seeking an experienced Office Manager to join our team. As the Office Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our office and ensuring smooth functioning. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in office management, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to effectively manage a team.
Responsibilities:
- Answer the phone to schedule appointments with customers and answer questions
- Manage the company schedule/calendar for sales appointments and installs
- Manage the showroom and serve as the first point of contact for visitors and clients
- Oversee office operations and ensure efficient workflow
- Maintain inventory and place orders as needed
- Assist with budgeting and financial management tasks
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
Experience:
- Proven experience in office management or a similar role
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in using office software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)
- Experience managing a team and providing leadership
- Familiarity with phone systems and handling phone etiquette
- Ability to handle budgeting tasks and maintain financial records accurately
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality
