Our client located in Cincinnati, Oh is looking for a Level 1 Desktop Support Analyst to join their team for a 3-month project. The primary focus of this role is to support various desktop-related tasks such as imaging computers, shipping and receiving equipment, profiling computers, installing necessary software, facilitating equipment returns, and assisting with equipment moves and unpacking.

Key Responsibilities:

• Imaging Computers: Utilize imaging software to set up new computers with standard configurations and necessary software packages.
• Shipping/Receiving Equipment: Manage incoming and outgoing shipments of IT equipment, ensuring accurate inventory records and timely deliveries.
• Profile Computers & Install Software: Configure user profiles on computers and install required software applications based on organizational needs and user requirements.
• Facilitation of Equipment Returns: Coordinate the return process for faulty or obsolete equipment, including proper documentation and disposal procedures.

Qualifications:

• Solid understanding of desktop hardware components and peripherals.
• Proficiency in imaging software (e.g., Microsoft Deployment Toolkit, Clonezilla).
• Knowledge of software installation procedures and troubleshooting techniques.
• Experience with inventory management and shipping/receiving processes.
