PNG Telecommunications, Inc. is Hiring a Remote Sales Account Executive

Description

Position Overview

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for helping our clients find the right technology solutions to fit their needs. Solutions can include, unified communications, contact center solutions, security, IT managed services, wireless, network infrastructure, as well as other technology products. You will be responsible for contributing to overall growth and profitability by establishing new clients, as well as continuing to work with existing clients to upsell and grow your accounts. This position works cross-functionally between teams and departments to enhance and influence the entire process from prospecting, to client management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

Support and promote the mission, values, and principles of Powernet.

  • Research and develop new opportunities to promote sales.
  • Meet and exceed assigned revenue quota objectives quarterly and annually.
  • Aggressively prospect customers in your assigned region through telephone, on-site and other new customer acquisition methods as defined by your immediate supervisor.
  • Submit timely and accurate forecast and sales activity reports as required by your immediate supervisor.
  • Perform market research and analysis such as competitive and customer analysis, sales trends, customer and category trends, etc.
  • Effectively create/develop strategic selling plans, and presentations based on research and experience.
  • Respond and facilitate solutions to the needs of customers.
  • Visit customers on an as needed basis to sell and close deals.
  • Train and be able to communicate to customers the company’s products.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education, Experience and Skill Requirements

  • A minimum of two (2) years Sales Experience.
  • Proven experience in solutions sales model with IT & Unified Communications, etc. 
  • Manage time efficiently without supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills and problem-solving skills 
  • PC skills with a working knowledge of Google, Microsoft, and Powerpoint 

Working Conditions

The duties of this position are typically performed in an environment outside of the office with normal ranges of temperature and a moderate to high level of office background noise. The majority of duties are performed calling on prospective customers and following up with these prospects to close sales for the Company. 

Communication typically occurs through face-to-face interaction, via e-mail, telephone, and written correspondence. In order to perform this job you must possess the following physical abilities:

  • Travel to meetings throughout the office and at other company office sites and client locations.
  • Physically meeting with prospects and customers in all weather conditions.
  • Frequently use hand/finger dexterity and hand/eye coordination to operate computer, telephone, and other office equipment.
  • Frequently listen and talk to customers on the telephone.
  • Frequently communicate verbally and in writing with customers, vendors, co-workers, and supervisors.
  • Frequently use organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills to manage high level of information and projects with varying degrees of priority, collect and research data, identify relationships and dependencies, summarize data and findings, resolve problems and generate reports.
  • Frequently use color vision and depth perception to navigate through variety of computer programs.
  • Constantly work in a team environment, effectively and efficiently achieving goals, improving processes, and resolving problems; and
  • Occasionally work in excess of 40 hours per workweek, including night shift hours.
