Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Program Assistant. As a Program Assistant, you are the first point of contact for people wanting to know what PCSI does. A successful candidate will greet people warmly, answer calls promptly, disseminate important information to the staff, and become familiar with the agency database. In effect, you will become an important face of the agency.

Duties:

• Accept incoming calls and makes referrals to the appropriate program department staff
• Acquire knowledge of all PCSI programs, services, and guidelines
• Becomes operationally familiar with system databases, spreadsheets, and other applicable software
• Schedule staff appointments
• Retrieve and deliver mail to Finance Director
• Standing or sitting for long periods of time
• Performs other duties as directed

Qualifications:

• High school graduate, or equivalence
• Experience in a social service or clerical environment is preferred
• Must have a drivers license, reliable transportation, and the freedom to travel

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.50 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
