Salary Range: $39,000 - $52,000 DOE
Position Summary:
As the Video Production Manager at Pima JTED, you will have the opportunity to showcase your creative expertise, strong technical skills, and produce engaging videos that tell the story of how our school district is in the unique position to help high school students successfully move to careers and college, and provide a skilled workforce for local industry. You’ll report to the Director of Public Relations, work in a fast-paced environment, and have the opportunity to make an impact and tell stories through video, and still photos. In addition, you will:
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Storyboard, shoot, edit and upload engaging videos and still photographs to promote student recruitment and build brand awareness
• Have strong technical skills, and experience with one or more of the following Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and AVID, among others
• Be a strong verbal and written communicator: The ability to communicate status updates to key stakeholders will set you apart in this role
• Have strong interpersonal skills – we work with high school students, educators, business leaders and elected officials, and respecting diversity is a priority at Pima JTED
• Monitor social media accounts, and collaborate with programs and departments that establish their own accounts to ensure district guidelines are followed
• Help coordinate and represent Pima JTED at special events (which includes limited evenings and weekends)
• Be professional, flexible, creative, and fast on your feet while using sound judgement as project needs can change on a moment’s notice
• A strong understanding of visual storytelling and how to disseminate stories across multiple platforms, and also archive creative to repurpose video clips and photos for future projects
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• BA/BS degree in Marketing, English, Journalism, Communications, or other related field, and three years of experience facilitating the delivery of these services; OR an equivalent combination of experience from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities have been achieved.
• Must possess a valid Arizona Driver’s License
• Must pass a background check and be eligible to obtain a fingerprint clearance card
• Proof of MMR Immunization required, unless born prior to January 1, 1957
• Negative TB test within the last year

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro
• Proficient in video production and editing, including lighting and sound
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Knowledge of still photography techniques including framing, lighting, and editing
• Knowledge of drones, Adobe After Effects, and Creative Suites preferred
• Familiarity of various social media platforms including YouTube, and interactive communication tools
• Strong writing and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of AP Style preferred
• Familiarity with WordPress and SEO best practices

Physical Tasks:
Ability to regularly carry and move up to 50 pounds. Indoor/outdoor, exposure to loud noise and hot/cold conditions.
