Warehouse Production Worker
DPI Staffing is hiring qualified applicants to work for our clients in Tucson.
We Want To Hear From YOU!
Positions include temp-to-hire, long-term temp, and short-term temp.
If you are looking for a job either long-term or just to make some extra income, we'd like to hear from you.
Job Summary:
The core duties and responsibilities revolve around supporting others. The job duties can vary widely, not just from job to job, but from day to day at the same job. On any given day, you may perform a variety of tasks, such as:
  • Collecting merchandise from the distribution center and safely transporting materials to the shipping bay.
  • Receiving and documenting merchandise for delivery or return.
  • Keeping an inventory of all merchandise entering or exiting the warehouse.
  • Identifying any missing, lost or damaged materials and immediately notify the supervisor.
  • Ensuring that all the merchandise is safely and securely packed and labeled for shipping.
  • Managing all merchandise with appropriate care.
  • Assisting with training of newly employed workers.
  • Scanning labels to ensure products are shipped to the right destination.
  • Monitor the efficiency of the production line to ensure timely load and shipment.
  • Assemble and prepare goods for shipment.
  • Complete quality assurance testing on goods and products.
  • Maintain proper storage for material and product inventory in warehouses.
  • Organize inventory in an easy-to-access process.
  • Utilize machinery such as forklifts to load orders.
  • Maintain the quality and upkeep of warehouse equipment including machinery.
  • Move materials or completed products and packages to established locations.
Job Qualifications:
  • Great communication skills to include verbal and written; giving full attention to what people are saying.
  • Ability to learn on the job.
  • Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the assigned job.
  • Punctual and reliable.
Requirements:
  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be able to follow instructions and take directions.
  • Regularly lift up to 50 lbs., push, pull and/or move heavy objects. Supplies, tools.
  • Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, lift overhead.
  • Be able to stand continuously up to 8 hours per shift.
Wages/Schedule:
Will vary from Client to Client and range from $18.00 to $25.00 DOE.
