Duties and Responsibilities

• The incumbent will report directly to the School of TFTVDirector.
• Typically supervises a staff of exempt and non-exemptemployees as assigned by the director.
• Serves as Production Manager for the season oflive-theatre plays, including studio productions, the New Works Festival, andstudent showcases.
• Supervises production and facility scheduling, andnegotiating royalties.
• Strategic budgetary planning and development of annualproduction budget in conjunction with the TFTV Director.
• Oversees, facilitates and executes the production budgetin conjunction with directors, designers, and technicians.
• Coordinates with artists or production representatives (includingstudent and faculty choreographers) and reads contracts to ascertain needs forthe production; determines feasibility and supervises arrangements for specialstaging, rental equipment, special effects, parking and security.
• May need to travel to pick up props, flooring, etc. fromCentennial Hall or other venues.
• Supervise and advise all undergraduate stage managers.
• Other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:Must be able to lift/transport a maximum of 50 pounds.
