Position Title: Coordinator - Program AdministrationDepartment: Truck Driver Training – Maintenance & SecurityStarting Rate: Band 5 - $52,500 - $59,700Benefits: SummaryClosed Date: June 7, 2024, 5:00 PM Arizona Time Position Summary:The Coordinator, Program Administration provides advanced programmatic support for the Center for Transportation and Logistics, which includes commercial driver license training, autonomous vehicle certificate program, traffic survival school and logistics. Key responsibilities revolve around the promotion of the Center for Transportation and Logistics and may vary by program but includes such duties as assisting with the scheduling of classes and instructors, promoting classes on social media, and office coverage. Provides supervision to at least one direct report. Support to departmental leadership by facilitating daily operations. Researches, compiles and analyzes data; prepares and reviews related reports and correspondence, including monthly grant and Motor Vehicle Division reports.The work schedule for this position is flexible and may include working evenings and weekends and local travel.Continued employment in the position is contingent upon continued funding through designated external sources.Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervisor for at least one direct report
Assists in development, implementation, and coordination of program enhancement, program guidelines, goals, objectives, and activities. Analyzes and reviews program statistics, budget, and needs; develops plans for program improvement
Coordinates, manages, and monitors a variety of student service functions if applicable
Maintains working relationships with faculty, staff, administrators, and community partners
Prioritizes and assigns staff workload; ensures staff members are trained
Researches, compiles, and analyzes data; prepares and reviews related reports and correspondence
Provides liaison services to a variety of College departments to distribute information
Performs all other duties and responsibilities as assigned or directed by the supervisor
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in related field of study and
Up to one year of related program experience
or
An equivalent combination of certification, education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above
Preferred:
One to three years of related experience
