The Role:

The System Administrator is responsible for the administration and technical support of the core applications, including upgrades and releases, application integrations, testing and deployment, while also providing troubleshooting expertise and technical competency. They will ensure the functionality of the application(s) supports internal business needs while maintaining working relationships with internal stakeholders, business leaders and vendors. 

Responsibilities:

• Assists with daily administration, maintenance and monitoring of core and surround bank applications.
• Provides technical application support for internal stakeholders, maintaining support tickets in various vendor ticketing systems.
• Assists with application release upgrade configurations, testing and installations.
• Administers application configurations and specifications to support business and technology needs following proper change control and ITIL practices.
• Maintains and develops internal procedures for application administration and security.
• Identifies and resolves technical issues related to internal applications. Coordinates incident communication and documenting root cause.
• Develops internal reports with various reporting tools. Maintaining reporting pipelines for internal stakeholders.
• Monitors and maintains application integrations, data extracts and hosting systems.
• Assists with Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity as it relates to internal applications, coordinating testing and validation with internal stakeholders and application vendors.
• Administers application access, periodically reviewing application security controls and recertifying access.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, business administration, or equivalent
• At least 3-5 years of core banking application administration experience, including deposit and loan business specifications.
• First-rate working knowledge of the Fiserv Premier core banking application, including module specifications such as SCM, DDA, LAS.
• Strong experience in access provisioning, failover, disaster recovery and business continuity.
• Should be experienced with relational databases and reporting writing tools such as Business Analytics, Microsoft BI.
• Demonstrated ability to support applications following ITIL standards.

The hiring range for this position is $75,000 to $90,000 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors. A bonus and/or incentives may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, dental, vision, 401k, and other benefits.
