Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the store manager in daily operations and ensuring excellent customer service. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and advancement.
Duties:
- Assist the store manager in overseeing all aspects of store operations
- Provide leadership and guidance to the team, ensuring exceptional customer service
- Manage and motivate employees, including hiring, training, and scheduling
- Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to achieve sales targets
- Conduct employee orientation and ongoing training to ensure staff is knowledgeable about products and services
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations in a professional manner
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stock management
- Assist with visual merchandising and ensure the store is clean and organized
- Perform administrative tasks such as cash handling, opening/closing procedures, and reporting
Experience:
- Previous experience in a leadership role, such as Sales Manager or Assistant Manager
- Strong sales management skills with a proven track record of achieving targets
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues effectively
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management
- Knowledge of retail management principles and practices
- Experience in stock management and visual merchandising is preferred
- Proficient in using computer systems for administrative tasks
