Job Overview
This is a full-time role for a Manager of Franchise Development. The Manager of Franchise Development will be responsible for day-to-day tasks such as franchise sales, franchise agreements, contract management and administration, business planning, and lead generation. The role will involve working closely with potential franchisees, developing strategies for franchise growth, and ensuring the success of new franchise locations.
Key Responsibilities
· Owns the expansion of all Pickleball Kingdom domestic locations; develops, plans and executes franchise recruitment activities that generate qualified new franchise candidates and other business platforms to grow the system.
· Builds a franchise development pipeline and process that consistently maintains a sufficient inventory of qualified franchisees to meet the company's yearly quota.
· Owns the franchise onboarding process for both new growth franchisees and new franchisee purchases. Participate with multiple departments within the organization (i.e., legal, operations, training, marketing, finance) to ensure proper onboarding of new franchisee candidates.
· Ensures that all internal and external franchise requirements are met, including following proper FDD disclosure / legal requirements, completing all background and credit checks, and maintaining all applications, contracts, and other required documentation at all times.
· Utilizes CRM platform to ensure proper documentation throughout the candidate qualification & onboarding process.
· Responsible for clearly communicating the franchise strategy, processes and status with direct reports, peers, department leaders, franchisees, franchise leadership and senior leadership on a regular basis.
· Using DocuSign to ensure contract signatures comply with the Administration Policy and contracts are signed and returned in a timely manner.
· Create projects in Monday.com to organize contracts and set task reminders
· Assists with maintenance of contracts including amendments, renewals and/or terminations.
· Must be able to work independently, multitask and prioritize workload, to meet demanding deadlines.
· Basic knowledge of program management to include tracking projects, reporting, ensuring milestones are aligned with timelines.
Qualifications
· Franchise Sales and Franchise Agreements
· Experience in contract management and administration
· Strong communication and negotiation skills
· Must possess high EQ (Emotional Quotient)
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms (Ex: Monday, Salesforce, Semrush)
· Prior experience working with contracts
· Experience in franchising and business planning
· Lead Generation and market research skills
· Ability to work independently
