As an Accountant at CIO Technology Solutions, you will play an integral role in our business, providing insight into our financial position. You will help deliver complete and accurate monthly financial statements and complete ad hoc projects.
- Perform daily accounts payable activities
- Perform daily accounts receivable activities
- Perform collection efforts and deliver collections report to Management
- Maintain vendor listing and keep track of upcoming vendor contract renewals
- Respond to customer inquiries timely
- Process credit card transactions and bank transactions weekly
- Process customer payments monthly
- Perform bi-weekly check run
- Take customer deposits to the bank weekly
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations monthly
- Record monthly journal entries
- Submit sales tax returns monthly
- Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliation
- Book the bi-weekly payroll journal entries out of Bamboo HR tool
- Assist with procurement process and perform 3-way match in QuickBooks
- Assist with monthly billing process in Connectwise Manage
- Assist with general ledger maintenance in QuickBooks desktop
- Assist with forecasts for comparison to actuals
- Assist with monthly and annual flux analyses
- Perform month end close activities and assist Controller with monthly financial statements
- Write and maintain standard operating procedures for your position
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
- QuickBooks experience required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
- Must be proficient in excel
- Experience with ConnectWise preferred
- Managed IT Service Provider (MSP) experience preferred
