Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner – Outpatient

The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or Psychiatric chronic illness, independently or as part of a healthcare team. Manage Clients' Treatment by creating and following a treatment plan providing emotional support and advocating for clients. The NP may order, perform or interpret diagnostic test, conduct individual, group or family counseling sessions, and write prescriptions including psychotropic medicines. Psychiatric nurses provide a range of therapies to clients in their care.
