Pet Camp in San Francisco, CA is looking to hire a full-time or part-time Facilities Maintenance Technician to support the daily operations of our buildings, grounds, and equipment by performing on-demand and preventive maintenance at our three San Francisco locations. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A FACILITIES MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
As a maintenance tech, you preserve our facilities by exercising consistent care, caution, and attention to detail. Using your mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry skills, you perform all necessary repairs and replacements. You demonstrate proficiency in selecting proper repair methods, tools, and materials. Safety is a top priority as you operate woodworking and metalworking machinery. Most of your time is spent working independently, so you obtain approvals as needed and maintain an acute sense of quality within your work practices. You gain a great sense of accomplishment from competently maintaining the entire facility!
QUALIFICATIONS FOR FACILITIES MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
- Working knowledge about building systems
- Ability to lift 50 lbs., work from heights, and use tools
Experience at a pet care facility would be a plus. Are you mechanically inclined? Can you be versatile and flexible? Are you a reliable worker? Do you present yourself professionally? WORK SCHEDULE
This maintenance tech job has full-time or part-time positions available. At least 24 hours per week is required and work can be completed any day of the week, allowing for the utmost flexibility.
