Permian Enterprises is Hiring a Remote Inside Sales Representative

PERMIAN ENTERPRISES LTD is seeking an Inside Sales Representative in the Odessa, TX area.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide/distribute quotes to customers according to guidelines established by DOS.
  • Communicate with DOS on daily reporting to customers.
  • Communicate with Sales Team on status of orders, delivery dates, and any other matters that promote the goodwill of Permian Enterprises.
  • Work with Production and Inventory Teams to ensure accuracy on customers' inventory.
  • Troubleshoot any issues with Production / Shipping & Receiving / Inventory / Invoicing on orders.
  • Complete and provide customers with Certificates of Completion.
  • Identify new business potential through research and customer interface.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with customer base.
  • Ensure all necessary documentation is accurate, complete, and filed within our inventory system.
  • Provide updates to DOS on any unresolved issues pertaining to scheduling, inventory, and invoicing.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) preferred but not required.
  • Minimum 2 years inside sales experience.
  • Knowledge and experience in the oil and gas industry preferred.
  • Must be flexible, highly self-motivated & proactive.
  • Knowledge of pipe coatings for downhole usage a plus.

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, OneNote); Must be open to learning new programs and devices as business progresses.
