PereGonza The Attorneys is seeking an Immigration Legal Assistant to become a part of our team. The ideal candidate is hardworking, ambitious and has a passion for helping others in immigration practice and working to help Clients overcome immigration matters.

Every Day tasks encompass: Answering phones, speaking with clients, drafting immigration forms, drafting Immigration documents, working with attorney in filing petitions, asylums, visas, status changes etc...

Responsibilities:

• Working with clients in Immigration matters
• Prepare and draft legal documents for immigration matters
• Prepare and file immigration petitions, forms and legal documents with attorney
• Manage case load with attorney
• Perform administrative and management functions

Qualifications:

• MUST have minimum 1 year experience in Immigration law
• Familiarity with various immigration proceedings and documents
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven leader and team-player

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
