Responsibilities As the nation's risk adviser, we (CISA) help our partners strengthen their own capabilities and connect our stakeholders in industry and government to each other and to resources, analyses, and tools to help them build their own cyber, communications, and physical security and resilience, and in turn, strengthening national resilience. This team is at the forefront of the nation's cyber defense and has played a role in every major cyber event in the past 8 years and recently received by-name commendations directly from the Secretary of Homeland Security. Peraton is currently seeking an experienced Executive Administrator for its' Federal Strategic Cyber program located in Arlington, VA. Location: on site in Arlington, VA. Position description: * Support the Director on day-to-day mission planning.
* Prepare operational pre-briefs and act as a gate keeper for future engagements.
* Update SOP's and CONOPS to coincide with mission operations.
* Facilitating internal and external engagements.
* Coordinating meetings and internal and external engagements.
* Take detailed meeting minutes and distribute accordingly.
* Support coordination with partners during major incidents, facilitating information exchange, and responding to requests for information or assistance.
* Support the creation and management of operational cybersecurity relationships with federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, foreign government agencies as well as private sector organizations.
* Coordinate with partners on cyber threat, vulnerability, and/or incident-related information.
* Manage and strengthen relationships with existing customers and partners to improve operational integration and multi-directional information exchange on cyber incidents, vulnerabilities, and risks affecting Federal departments and agencies, state and local governments, critical infrastructure providers and foreign government partners.
* Deepen operational networks and global relationships with the cyber community.
* Support the development and implementation of novel cyber initiative efforts.
Qualifications Basic Qualifications: * BS 8-10, MS 6-8, Phd 3-5
* Bachelor's degree and minimum of 5 years' experience, or a Master's degree and minimum of 3 years of experience. 4 additional years will be considered in lieu of degree. * Demonstrated experience managing tasks and interfacing regularly with senior government officials.
* Experience in information operation planning, mission analysis, or COA development and concept of operation production.
* Experience in MS Outlook, creating and managing calendars, schedules, etc. * U.S. citizen with an Active Top Secret security clearance.
* In addition, the selected candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a favorably adjudicated DHS background investigation (EOD) for continued employment. U.S. citizenship is required.
