Responsibilities

PeopleTec is currently seeking a Junior Full Stack Developer to support our Huntsville, AL location.

We are seeking an enthusiastic Full Stack Developer with 2-5 years of experience to join our internal software development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SQL Server, .NET, React.js, and Azure cloud platforms. This role requires a combination of both front-end and back-end development skills to produce scalable and high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using .NET, React.js, and SQL Server.
• Deploy, manage, and optimize applications on Azure cloud platforms.
• Collaborate with diverse teams to ideate, design, and implement new web solutions.
• Craft high-quality, efficient code, ensuring peak performance and application responsiveness.
• Participate in code reviews, suggesting and implementing improvements.
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our applications remain modern and secure.

Qualifications

• Eagerness for continuous learning and professional growth.
• 2-5 years of hands-on experience as a web developer. Years of additional experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
• Demonstrable experience with SQL Server and .NET.
• Proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React.js, Vue.js, Angular, etc.).
• Strong problem-solving skills with the capacity to manage and prioritize multiple tasks across multiple projects.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in software engineering or a related discipline.
• Hands-on experience with the Azure cloud platform.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in CI/CD pipeline deployment and management.
• Hands-on experience developing RESTful APIs.
• Understanding of authentication mechanisms like JWT or MSAL.
• Exposure to agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
