Description:

Collaborate with internal and external customers to translate customer needs into user stories and deliver working capabilities at the conclusion of each sprint. Serve as an overall subject matter expert, product owner and lead developer for internal software development projects. Interface with our customers to design and advance custom software solutions; formulate detailed design specifications to meet customer requirements to deploy and maintain secure computing operations in various environments.

Make recommendations for improvements to security, scalability, manageability, and performance across a wide variety of network, storage, and compute technologies. Develop automation methodologies to support infrastructure builds and system management activities across platforms and storage systems

Candidate Minimum Requirements -

• The successful candidate will have minimum 6 years’ software development experience with proven ability to deliver on commitments.
• 6 years of experience designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software programming applications.
• Experience designing developing and maintaining web applications using React (NEXT, Material UI), redux Typescript, Javascript, React.js, and MongoDB.
• Familiarity with GitLab for code repo, pipelines, and/or backlog management.
• Ability to Deploy, manage, and optimize applications for enterprise and/or cloud platforms
• Experience using back-end and front-end languages to develop complete solutions

Additional Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or STEM related field, or 10 years of experience in lieu of a Bachelor of Science Degree
• Recent experience with agile based software development
• Experience writing source code for new applications or generating and enhancing code samples for existing applications
• Intermediate knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes
• Proficiency with one or more programming languages-technologies, tools, and web development stacks such as Python, Javascript and have general experience using data parsing and NLP capabilities along with the deployment and maintenance of multiple database management systems.
• Ability to develop and maintain development related documentation
• Experience with tasks related to improving system scalability, resiliency, latency, and fault tolerance
• Rigor with unit testing and software development best practices

Nice to Have - Beneficial Additional Experience

• Experience working with Red Hat Linux
• Understanding of Microsoft Azure administration is a plus.
• Experience with CMMI Dev Level 3 Certification is a plus.
• Candidate will have a basic understanding of system and / or network administration as well as cybersecurity protection asset technologies such as Firewalls, Network switches and associated logging capabilities.
• Prior experience supporting deliverable/release objectives: product documentation, STIG analysis, and deployment orchestration.
