GENERAL JOB SUMMARY:

We are currently seeking a qualified full-stack software developer to work with a dynamic team in the field of Ballistic Missile Defense Systems. In this position you will help build, maintain and enhance web-based products and services to meet customer requirements. Our team produces custom built prototype applications and websites to support the needs of our government customers. This position will require both software development skills and cloud deployment skills. Candidates should be comfortable programming in a Visual Studio environment utilizing C# with .NET Core and the ASP.NET MVC pattern. Candidate should also have a working knowledge of the Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Primary:

• Develop, test, debug and maintain an array of custom web-based tools and web services
• Improve and maintain custom websites built with the Microsoft MVC pattern
• Filter through COTs documentation for interfacing needs
• Deploy and manage products, data and micro-services in the AWS cloud

Required:

• Programming experience in
  • C#, JavaScript, HTML5/CSS3, Bootstrap
• Experience working with Microsoft Visual Studio
• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or any cloud computing environment
• Experience with any Platform as a Service (PaaS) implementation
  • Docker, Kubernetes, AWS ECS/ECR
• Experience in designing and building relational or document (NoSQL) databases
  • PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, AWS managed databases

Preferred:

• Experience with any of these technologies:
  • AWS CloudFormation
  • Kibana, Kibana Canvas
  • Microsoft Blazor web framework
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
  • Terraform infrastructure-as-configuration software tool
  • Experience working in a software development team that is focused on continuous collaboration and improvement using the Agile development process
  • Experience working in a classified environment is beneficial

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS, CLEARANCES:

• Active Security Clearance
• BS or MS Degree in CS, CE, or EE with software emphasis and relevant work experience
