Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Head Chef to join our team. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen operations, including food preparation, inventory control, and shift management. The ideal candidate will have a strong culinary background, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for creating exceptional dishes.
Duties:
- Plan and execute menus
- Supervise and train kitchen staff in food preparation techniques and safety procedures
- Ensure that all food is prepared to the highest quality standards and presented attractively
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Collaborate with bartenders to create innovative and appealing drink pairings
- Manage kitchen operations during service hours, ensuring smooth workflow and timely delivery of meals
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, flavor profiles, and food presentation
- Ability to create menus that cater to different dietary preferences and restrictions
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of inventory control procedures
