Seeking an experienced Channel Sales Manager to review and report on lead generation, sales funnel and sales projections.
General Responsibilities include:
- Managing Inside Sales and Business Development teams
- Communicating heavily with partners, customers, agents and sales team in person as well as via phone, email and virtual forums
- Responding to escalated customer service and sales team requests in a timely manner
- Assisting with the preparation and review of quotes and contracts for presentation to customers
- Managing, developing and overseeing wholesale services, rate cards and building list updates as well as agent relationships
- Working closely with Sales Implementers, Sales Engineers and other departments to provide the best options to meet customer needs
- Assisting the sales management team with projects including but not limited to:
- Reporting on sales activity, churn and projections
- Market research/ Competitive Info
- Customer care and conflict/complaint resolution
- Presenting and preparing proposals for strategic accounts
- Working with sales team members as necessary
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred, but not required
- Previous Sales Management experience
- Knowledge of PTD Partnerships preferred
- Established residency in Pennsylvania
- Valid PA Driver’s License and good driving record
- Good working knowledge of desktop computer applications and Google Earth
- Understanding of the technology behind routers, hubs, and switches
- Understanding of Ethernet networking
- Understanding of Fiber Optic and HFC services
- Understanding of various WAN and Internet solutions available on the market
- Strong Interpersonal and Communication skills – Oral and Written
- Strong Conflict Resolution Skills
- Strong Project Management Skills
- Strong awareness of local telephone and cable companies in our service area
