Brief Description:
The business development manager is responsible for generating new business and maintaining current relationships. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing new relationships with potential customers/clients through networking, sales, social media, community involvement and trade shows. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for maintaining solid relationships with established clients through consistent communication and building new leads and opportunities to fit the needs of that established client.
Responsibilities:
- Build relationships with customers, sales and marketing team, and operating company leadership.
- Participate in strategic planning meetings with a focus on sales growth.
- Develop in depth knowledge of company offerings/services to identify profitable business opportunities.
- Research emerging trends recommending new company offerings/services to satisfy customer needs.
- Develop and manage strategic partnerships to grow the business by attending events and representing the company well.
- Develop and maintain memberships within industry associations, community organizations, and local chambers.
- Meet or Exceed monthly/quarterly/yearly goals.
- Record and track all sales leads.
- Plan, organize, and represent company at events, golf tournaments, tradeshows, etc.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or related field, or 5 years in outside sales and/or business development.
- Restoration industry experience preferred, but not required.
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to travel 4-6 times per year.
- Ability to attend networking events at least one evening per week.
- Driven, self-motivated, extrovert, team player.
Education: Preferred degree in business management, marketing, or related field.
