ABOUT THIS ROLE

Position: Execution Risk Analyst

Location: Chicago, IL

Responsibilities: Responsible for monitoring and maintaining the firm's order flow to the marketplace while developing necessary tooling to properly carry out such tasks; develop tooling to assist with market risk oversight across trading activities while understanding all significant market risk positions and their impact on the overall portfolio; collaborate with the trading desk to analyze time sensitive, high pressure decisions; monitor and validate execution risk; perform regular testing of all execution limits to keep abreast of relevant market events and drivers as they pertain to firm positioning; liaise with support groups in the analysis of risk changes, risk representation, revenue, and regulatory issues; communicate key
execution risks to management via presentations and regular write-
ups; and work with other Risk functions including Product Control,
Middle Office, Risk IT, and Risk Reporting.

Educ./experience:

Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Financial Economics, Computational Finance or related field, plus one (1) year post-
baccalaureate experience as Credit Risk Analyst or related role.
Experience must include machine learning model (XG Boost)
creation & implementation, designing loan portfolio and developing
credit strategies using R and SQL.

The base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and office location. This position also may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in addition to a range of health & wellness benefits.
