Key Responsibilities:

Tropicana Brands Group is looking for an eager Commercial Planning & Execution Management Analyst to operationalize tools for sales consumption and drive focus within the commercial organization.

The Commercial Planning & Execution Management Analyst is responsible for supporting and operationalizing tools and processes for the commercial team at Tropicana Brands Group. This includes setting targets, supporting the development of channel and customer strategies, account segmentations, performance management processes, and tracking sales incentive programs. The analyst will also play a crucial role in acting as a liaison between the sales team and innovation project teams. This role is an agile role, meaning that responsibilities will shift based on needs of the business. 

Additional Responsibilities:

Tracking:

  • Track innovation sell-in and work with Demand Planning to quantify opportunities and risks to business performance
  • Work with Enterprise Analytics to develop PowerBI trackers for key sales metrics
  • Track new item sell-in and identify opportunities for growth
  • Analyze and mine sales data to identify sales opportunities and to support selling story creation
  • Coordinate sales goal setting process and cascading and tracking of targets
  • Track sales incentives to motivate and retain top performers and drive incremental sales
  • Create ad-hoc sales trackers as needed

Coordinating & Advising:

  • Manage product allocations to maximize profitability, minimize out of stocks, and meet customer demand
  • Shape selling stories to ensure consistent messaging and templates for sales consumption by coordinating with BU, supply chain, and commercial teams 
  • Provide insight to the BU and supply chain teams on customer opportunities relating to innovation, distribution changes, customer reset timing, customer meetings, and customer strategies
  • Orchestrate Joint Business Planning for a subset of customers
  • Support the development and execution channel strategies to achieve revenue targets and drive profitable growth

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Math, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • 2 years of experience in a sales or analytics role in a Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) company
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, customer segmentation, and channel strategy
  • Ability to facilitate effectively across cross-functional teams and facilitate internal Joint Business Planning meetings
  • Demonstrate ability to manage and analyze data and recommend and inform decision-making
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to influence and persuade at all levels of the organization
  • Customer-service mentality with an aim of providing inputs, tools, and resources that drive efficacy of and unlock time for field salespeople
  • Results-driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
