PCX is Hiring a Sales Account Manager Near Huntington, CA

Who is PCX?

Located in the heart of Huntington Beach, California. PCX has been the go-to distributor of Electronic Components since December 1993. With over 30 years of experience in the Independent distribution market, the team has built PCX into a respected and successful company focusing on the highest level of Quality Controland Customer Satisfaction.

Objectives:

  • Contribute $60,000 in gross profit (GP) within 6 months with a first year goal of $180,000 in gross profit (GP) $240,000 in the second year and $300,000.00 in the third year
  • Maintain PCX core values and principles while managing and growing customer base as well as cultivating and nurturing existing customers
  • Complete the PCX Sales Training program and within 2 weeks, apply techniques to sell all brands and types of components
  • Contribute $180,000 in gross profit (GP) per year with a reach goal of $300,000 in GP per year and meet or exceed the following milestones.
  • $5K in GP within the first 60 days
  • $10K in GP in 90 days
  • $15K in GP per month consistently by 6 months with a reach goal of $25K in 6 months
  • Prospect and develop new accounts from a combination of assigned sales leads and existing contacts via telephone
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities so that the qualified pipeline measurably exceeds target metrics for any given month.
  • Maintain account base and lead activity daily in EPDS Sales & Marketing software
  • Participate in sales/marketing campaigns and follow up on leads generated from the campaign within 2 days of receipt.
  • Build positive customer relationships with key decision makers and influencers.
  • Maintain a Customer Satisfaction score of 3.75 of a 5.0 scale across all active accounts.
  • o Follow-up on all customers with a score below 3.75 within two weeks of receiving the survey results.
  • Manage and coordinate sales efforts with PCX’s internal Marketing, Purchasing, Accounting, and Warehouse/Distribution departments
  • Conduct an annual account review meeting via conference call or in person with top 10 accounts (based on gross profit).
  • Deliver sales presentations to key customers to help foster retention, penetration and development as either the primary or secondary independent source of electronic components
  • Follow all company-wide and departmental policies, procedures, and work instructions

Team Objectives:

  • Participate in weekly Department Team meetings
  • Participate in bi-weekly 1-on-1 meetings with supervisor
  • Participate in monthly Company Meetings

Individual Objectives:

Meet or exceed individual performance metrics of:

  • $180,000 in gross profit per year with a reach goal of $600,000 in GP per year
  • 13 qualified requirements per day
  • 65 contacts per day
  • 4.5 hours of total telephone time with a reach goal of 6 hours of telephone time
  • Complete daily performance metrics/vital factors

3-4K base generous commissions. Successful sales staff often earn north of 150-250K with all benefits.
