About the Role

This position reports directly to the Director of Accounting and is responsible for accounting processes and various other areas within the finance function.

What You Will Do

• Monthly preparation of financial statements and information for parent company and banks, including journal entries and General Ledger maintenance.
• Assist in the development of the annual budget for the company.
• Compile backup documentation for annual audit process.
• Prepare, analyze and report daily bank reconciliations.
• Accounts payable functions; data entry, matching & payment processing for vendors.
• Reconcile intercompany balances with other entities within the Group.
• Review and analyze company’s T&E expenses in concur.
• Work on special projects as required.

Who You Are

1. Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance
2. Ability to perform the essential functions of the job typically acquired through 4 or more years of related experience
3. Ability to apply knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
4. Must be able to adapt to new and different computer programs and software to enable efficient data gathering and analysis
5. Ability to research, compile, analyze and interpret data
