Parker Corporate Services is Hiring a Project Coordinator Near Seattle, WA

Project Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated, professional and organized individual to join our team as an experienced Project Coordinator for a construction plumbing company. As the Project Coordinator, you will play a vital role in facilitating the successful execution of plumbing projects from inception to completion. Working closely with the owners, estimator, field team, suppliers, and contractors, you will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

This is a critical role in the smooth operation of our construction office and the successful coordination of construction projects. If you are a confident, proactive problem-solver with a strong attention to detail and a can-do attitude, we encourage you to apply.

This is an in office position and field position. This position is not remote.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a calendar for construction jobs, including scheduling deadlines, milestones, purchasing, inspections and project-related appointments.
  • Dispatch Field team to appropriate job based on all job needs for accuracy, timelines, etc.
  • Lead in communication for all construction projects for clients, contractors, and subcontractors for all change orders, RFIs, and project correspondence.
  • Facilitate project meetings, provide support to project teams, and assist in resolving project-related issues and conflicts with schedules, install, timing etc.
  • Coordinate and schedule inspections with regulatory agencies and ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
  • Monitor project progress, report to the Controller, and track milestones to ensure timely completion and invoicing.
  • Coordinate liens releases for projects and assist in monitoring project payments from contractors or clients for compliance.
  • Assist the Purchase Manager in procurement processes for materials and equipment.
  • Manage project processes for start of job and closeout activities, including documentation and final inspections and warranty work.
  • Manage day-to-day administrative tasks within the construction office, including supply inventory, vendor coordination, and handling phone/email communications.
  • Maintain organized records, documents, and files, both digitally and physically per compliance for each project.

Requirements

- Experience in construction as a subcontractor or similar experience.

- Experience in project coordination in a construction company for 10 jobs at a time.

- This job requires you to do job walks on active construction sites and may include delivering materials to a job site. This job involves occasional lifting of up to 50lbs and other physical activities including standing for long periods, bending, reaching, climbing stairs or ladders, using a lift, accessing small spaces including crawling or stooping to assess job sites.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail, Calendar).

- Strong technology proficiency and ability to adapt to new software and tools quickly.

- Excellent organizational and time management skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

- Knowledge of construction industry processes and terminology is preferred.

- Must have a can-do attitude to problem solve and get things done.

- Confident team player who can collaborate effectively with colleagues.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
