Paragon is an Equal Opportunity Employer, located in Torrance, CA, and seeks an experienced Sales Manager for immediate hire.
Summary of Position:
The Sales Manager is responsible for leading and managing a team of sales professionals and customer service reps to achieve sales targets, build strong customer relationships, and contribute to the overall success of the company. In this role, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing effective sales strategies, mentoring the sales team, and driving the achievement of revenue goals.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Sales Team Leadership:
  • Recruit, train, and motivate a high-performing sales team.
  • Set clear sales targets and provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment that promotes teamwork and individual growth.
  • Assist with Sales Team direct report responsibilities.
  • Lead by example and demonstrate a strong work ethic and professionalism.
Sales Strategy and Execution:
  • Develop and implement sales strategies and tactics to drive revenue growth and achieve sales objectives.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for sales expansion. Monitor and analyze sales data and metrics to measure performance and make data-driven decisions.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement effective sales processes and methodologies.
  • Other duties as needed.
Customer Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and prospects.
  • Understand customer needs and provide customized solutions to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted sales campaigns, newsletters, social media, blogs, and other promotional activities.
  • Conduct regular customer visits and participate in client presentations as needed.
Sales Forecasting and Reporting:
  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts and reports for senior management.
  • Monitor and manage sales pipelines, ensuring timely follow-up and closure of deals.
  • Provide regular updates on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
  • Collaborate and strategize with other departments, such as marketing, product development, and operations, to ensure alignment of sales activities with overall business objectives.
  • Lead team meetings
  • Communicate and coordinate effectively with internal stakeholders to resolve customer issues and ensure a smooth sales process.
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a sales Manager or in a related sales leadership role.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong knowledge of sales strategies, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Experienced with Microsoft Suite and other technology-related platforms.
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and people skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze sales data and draw meaningful insights.
  • Proficiency in using HubSpot CRM software and other sales tools.
  • The results-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
