We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The IT Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing various IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The successful candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of managing complex IT projects in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Project Planning and Execution:
• Develop comprehensive project plans outlining project scope, objectives, timelines, resources, and budget.
• Coordinate project activities and tasks, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives.
• Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and addressing any deviations or issues promptly.
• Implement effective project management methodologies and best practices to optimize project outcomes.
Stakeholder Management:
• Communicate project status, updates, and risks to stakeholders at all levels, including executives, team members, and external partners.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define project deliverables, and manage expectations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success and alignment with business objectives.
Resource Management:
• Allocate resources effectively to support project activities and milestones.
• Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and third-party contractors to ensure adequate resource availability and utilization.
• Identify resource constraints or bottlenecks and take proactive measures to resolve them.
Risk Management:
• Identify potential risks and issues that may impact project success, and develop mitigation strategies.
• Proactively assess project risks and implement risk management plans to minimize their impact.
• Monitor and evaluate risk mitigation efforts throughout the project lifecycle.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related field.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent project management certification preferred.
• Proven experience managing IT projects from initiation to completion, preferably in a technology-driven organization.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and
techniques.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate in a confident and clear manner.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
• Proficiency in project management software such as Wrike, Microsoft Project, JIRA, or Asana.
• Familiarity with IT infrastructure, software development lifecycle, and emerging technologies.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
