Responsibilities:

Palm Point Behavioral Health is a 74-bed behavioral health hospital is located in Titusville, Florida minutes from Cape Canaveral. Palm Point Behavioral Health treats adults, children and adolescents that suffer from a wide range of behavioral health diagnoses including, depression, anxiety and substance abuse in a modern and well-appointed facility. Palm Point behavioral health offers inpatient treatment options and serve communities in Brevard County and beyond. Titusville, located on Florida’s Space Coast, is approximately 30-miles north of historic Cocoa Beach, and 40-miles east of Orlando’s famous theme parks. In Titusville, you can tour the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge and Canaveral National Seashore. Not only do you have the abundance of activities along the Atlantic shore, but Titusville also offers an ideal climate, close proximity to multiple dining and shopping options, and a very friendly community.

Palm Point is currently recruiting for Business Development Representative. The Business Development Representative represents the facility to the community, interested persons and potential referral sources within the identified market service area. They assist in the organization and implementation of the marketing plan. Assists the Director of Business Development in the development and coordination of projects. The Business Development Representative performs local marketing functions as assigned by the Director of Business Development. This position involves daily travel in a defined geographic territory to meet with contacts with primary referral sources including hospitals, crisis centers, psychiatrists, psychologists, mental health professionals, other physicians and other community resources.

Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, business administration, a behavioral health area, or related field preferred.

Experience: One year experience in health care, business development/marketing environment with measurable business development results. Experience as a Pharmaceutical Rep preferred. Experience with Home Health and Medical sales preferred.

Must have a valid driver’s license and a well-developed knowledge of the geographical area assigned
