Position Title:

Administrative / Patient Care Specialist

Position summary:

Exciting opportunity to work alongside Dr. Lobanoff and Dr. Whiting at their world-premiere refractive surgery and specialty lens implant clinic!

OVO LASIK LENS is beyond cutting-edge with the only dual Contoura Surgical Suites in the US for LASIK/PRK, and the first Office-Based Surgical Suites in Minnesota for cataract surgery, RLE, ICL and specialty lens surgeries.

Located in the beautiful brand new Xchange Medical Building on 394 and Park Place, OVO LASIK LENS occupies the first floor space. A supremely high-quality environment, plus experienced, friendly, and supportive team members, lends to a rewarding and positive employment experience.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Answer phones, schedule appointments, manage electronic requests from patients, confirm appointments, and direct questions to appropriate staff members for triage.
  • Maintain current knowledge of competition.
  • Collect patient payments and/or insurance information.
  • Understand and effectively communicate clinic appointments, procedures, pricing, and educational information to patients.
  • Preemptive troubleshooting of patient needs in order to assist clinic in performing a timely diagnosis and treatment plan.
  • Monitor clinic patient flow and perform duties in order to uphold expectations of individual patient appointment times.
  • Patient chart management.
  • Collateral materials assembly and back-office projects.
  • File and maintain clinic office supplies.
  • Maintain cleanliness of front desk, lobby, patient communication center, waiting rooms, and overall clinic.
  • Provide incredible patient care, 100% of the time.
  • Uphold the high expectations and standards of OVO, 100% of the time.

Experience And Education:

Minimum 2 years of customer service and/or medical field experience

High School Diploma

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
