Job Summary:
Our client, a collective of award-winning restaurants that have set the benchmark for gastronomy in the American dining scene, is seeking enthusiastic and skilled individuals with a zeal for food, beverage, and hospitality to join their Michelin Star restaurant team as an Executive Sous Chef .
Responsibilities:
As the Executive Sous Chef , you will be entrusted with:
  • Culinary Excellence: Uphold the highest standards of culinary craftsmanship, ensuring that every dish reflects the precision and innovation required for a Michelin Star establishment.
  • Menu Development: Collaborate with the Head Chef to create and execute avant-garde menus that showcase creativity, seasonal ingredients, and a commitment to delivering an extraordinary gastronomic experience.
  • Leadership: Provide inspiring leadership to the kitchen brigade, fostering a culture of excellence, passion, and continuous improvement.
  • Quality Control: Implement rigorous quality control measures to maintain the impeccable standards expected of a Michelin Star restaurant, overseeing every aspect of food preparation and presentation.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless coordination and impeccable service, creating a harmonious and memorable dining experience for our guests.
  • Innovation: Stay at the forefront of culinary trends, bringing fresh and innovative ideas to the table while respecting the classical foundations of fine dining.
Qualifications:
  • At least 3 years of proven experience as an Executive Sous Chef or similar role in a Michelin Star or fine dining restaurant.
  • Culinary degree from a recognized institution.
  • A portfolio demonstrating a high level of creativity, craftsmanship, and attention to detail.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of international culinary techniques, ingredients, and trends.
  • Ability to maintain composure and deliver excellence in a high-pressure environment.
  • Passion for excellence and a dedication to elevating the guest experience.
Availability:
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the restaurant schedule.
